Our missions and assets:

HEKS/EPER Romania gathers the active HR experts again! This time we dedicate our expertise in recruitment and selection to another kind of clients: the Ukrainian refugees and to another goal, being on the candidate’s side to facilitate access to labor market. We counsel and coach our clients while earning their first job in Romania and on their way to accessing a better qualified and better paid job, closer to their expertise and education level.  The international stakeholders and local professionals put together the expertise and resources in order to address and develop the most efficient technical tools  to support a recruiter express the entire value of his/her expertise to reach our common goal: give the professional background of our clients the highest realistic value on the romanian labor market.

HEKS/EPER Romania has been supporting the Ukrainians in their country, at the border, in our country since February 2022 and now on the labor market. The HR community in Cluj can now bring their support doing what they can do best: be the professionals in assessing and placing our clients at the best professional opportunities for them.

Qualities that would trigger high performance and satisfaction:

–        Broad understanding of Cluj labor market, job descriptions and specifications of a wide range of positions acquired during at least 2 year experience in staffing

–        Good mastering of competence assessment techniques

–        Bachelor or Master’s degree in Psychology/Human Resources would be nice to have

–        Very high proficiency in Romanian (native preferably), High proficiency in English (written and oral, c1/c2); Russian and/or Ukrainan is a nice to have

–        Confortable with public speaking, subtle persuasion, sympathy and enthusiasm are mandatory

–        Last but not least a very high motivation in being on the candidates’ side with technical and realistic approach

–        Goal oriented, perseverance

Position responsabilities and taskes:

–        Conduct individual career counseling sessions for assessing the highest realistic professional goal considering the education, skills and professional aspiration of the ukrainian refugee

–        Mediate support groups in acquiring the necessary skills for accessing the labor market (CV building, interview preparation, job fair readiness)

–        Build an individual career path based on available job opportunities for the highest possible but realistic entry position and build the way for a better qualified and better paid job.

–        Accompany the Ukrainian refugee in earning an interview and during induction

–        Be a trusted advisor for legal and financial aspect related to labor in Romania

–        Empower,  motivate, coach our clients through the process

–        Map the labor market for vacancies suitable for our clients and manage the relationship with the employers, organize interviews and job fairs

Despre HEKS/EPER ROMANIA

Fundatia HEKS/EPER Romania a fost fondata de HEKS/EPER (Hilfswerk der Evangelischen Kirchen Schweiz) – Fundatia de ajutorare a bisericilor protestante din Elvetia. HEKS/EPER Elvetia este prezenta in Romania incepand cu anul 1977, cand a intreprins o serie de actiuni umanitare in sprijinul victimelor cutremurului. Din 1989 și până în prezent, HEKS/EPER și-a continuat activitatea prin susținerea constantă a comunităților din țara noastră. La inceput, programul HEKS/EPER in Romania era focusat pe ajutor umanitar (1990-1991), apoi pe dezvoltarea rurală (1992-2007) şi dezvoltarea serviciilor sociale (1990 – prezent). Deschiderea unui birou regional Cluj-Napoca marcheaza o noua etapa si confirma angajamentul HEKS/EPER in Romania.
