We are currently looking for a

Software Developer (m/f/x)

working full-time from our headquarters in Düsseldorf, Germany or remote in a co-working location. Optionally, at your wish, we can help you get a visa for Germany (if applicable) to move to Düsseldorf, Germany as soon as is your visa is granted.

Depending on your skills, you will work as part of our development team on one of three main topics:

 

Topic 1: General (web) application development

We are fans of single page applications developed with Node.JS backends and Vue or React frontends, and develop all our websites and company support applications in this manner.

Also the UI of our cryptocurrency mining and scientific calculation software, Neonious Node, is implemented with this technology, however we use Electron to package it nicely into a native non-browser application.

Here, emphasis of the development is on clean, understandable but powerful user interfaces.

 

Topic 2 and 3: Scientific Pipeline

Our service is based on our scientific pipeline, which has two layers.

The first layer is the software used by Neonious’ scientific team which coordinates the many simulations with drug ingredient molecules and protein molecules of the human body to predict drug safety and side effects.

The second layer consists of the engine programs bundled into the Neonious Node software, which are programmed with Python, C++, CUDA and OpenCL.

With our scientific pipeline, the emphasis is on improving the calculation results in accuracy and speed, with heuristics, machine learning (AI) and other methods.

What we expect:

Most important for us are good programming skills and fast comprehension.

We utilize programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Node.JS, HTML5, MySQL, as well as C++, if the situation demands it. For the algorithmic parts, we use CUDA, OpenCL and frameworks like TensorFlow or Keras.

Knowledge in all of these areas is not mandatory, because we are convinced that good software developers can quickly learn new input in no time.

Good knowledge in English is mandatory.

Operating under the Neonious brand (https://www.neonious.org/) we offer anyone a software which they can download and run to mine cryptocurrency, but also to do the calculations needed for Ambrego. With this combination a user can earn more than by just mining cryptocurrency.
